Exercise Physiologist

Day Shift

What you will do as an Exercise Physiologist:

Responsible for conducting exercise stress tests, based on physician orders, clinical assessment, and standard protocols. Responsible for conducting Cardiac Rehabilitation classes and providing education to Cardiac Rehabilitation. Responsible for recognizing emergency situations and initiating emergency procedures.

What you will need as an Exercise Physiologist:

Experience in stress testing and cardiac rehab preferred. Provides proof of CEP certification through ACSM within 6 months of employment.Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science kinesiology, or related field, or must have successfully completed a cardiovascular program with a non-invasive specialty. Master’s Degree preferredCurrent ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional required for Bachelor's degree candidates within 6 months of hire.Current BLS certification; Current ACLS certification preferred but will be required within 2 months employmentMinimum 2 years' experience or successful completion of 600-hour clinical internship in cardiac rehab settingProficient in 12 lead ECG interpretation
