The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for assessment and delivery of therapies as defined by scope of practice specific to Cardiac Rehabilitation and as ordered by the referring MD. This includes helping people cope with difficulties of daily living which are associated with their actual or potential health or illness problems or the treatment thereof which require a substantial knowledge or technical skill.
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for developing a comprehensive individualized rehabilitation program to include: initial assessment, patient and family education and monitored progressive exercise programs. Supports the philosophy, objectives and policies of the department, Saint John's Health Center, and Providence Health Systems.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field and Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications:
