Exercise Physiologist Full Time

.80 FTE \: 32 hours per week – NO weekends NO Holidays

The Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) may provide coverage in a variety of settings. The CEP is responsible for coordinating a multidisciplinary treatment plan to meet the clinical educational needs of heart patients, families, and patients at risk for cardiovascular disease and patients with peripheral vascular disease. This position works with a group of staff members requiring flexibility and adaptability to follow established program goals and protocols. The CEP is responsible for developing individualized treatment plans, exercise prescriptions and education for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Peripheral Vascular Disease. This position facilitates inpatient education and referrals, schedules and coordinates new patient evaluations, and performs initial patient assessment and evaluation utilizing a case management model throughout each patient’s program duration, involving the patient's primary care and referring provider care teams.
