Position Summary:
The incumbent shall be responsible for providing quality care to medical and surgical cardiovascular patients of cardiac rehab services by supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase I ‐ III program that involves the patient and family. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.
Education, License & Cert:
The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of an accredited four‐year bachelor’s degree program in Exercise Physiology / Physical Education or related field. Current BLS certification is required.
Experience:
Education/experience in developing safe exercise prescription and education for the cardiac patients is preferred.

2. Participating in continuing education/professional development activities. Attends/presents at departmental in‐service sessions as scheduled. Attends external professional growth activities as scheduled and communicates information to the team.
3. Adhere to policies and practices of applicable federal and state guideline, and entity specific policies. Is familiar with and acts according to contents of applicable professional code, employee/handbook, unit Policy & Procedure and organizational policies.
4. Meets established organizational productivity standards within a fiscally responsible manner.
5. Participates in performance improvement and quality related initiatives and uses data to improve quality of care delivered.

Pay rate ranges from $18.55 - $29.40 per hour.
