Our work depends on a Training Specialist Advisor joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the Pacific! **HOW AN EXERCISE PLANNER (B&B) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT** **:** + Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Company to Brigade. + Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identify any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training + Serves in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested + Gather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Actions Review (AARs) + Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs + Plan, prepare and execute in accordance with the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) + May serve as a team leader, task leader, or people manager + Perform other duties as required + Participates in special projects as required **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:** + Education: BS/BA subject immaterial; Military Education Level IV highly preferred or equivalent Intermediate Level Education or combined relevant experience + Required Experience: 10+ years of related work experience; Military training and experience at Brigade level is highly preferred + Required Technical Skills: Expert Knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle; Knowledge of Wargaming Principles and execution is highly desired; Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs + Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI + Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills; Advance knowledge of virtual and constructive simulations; Experience with Joint Integration is highly desired + Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR **GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:** + 401K with company match + Comprehensive health and wellness packages + Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career + Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications + Cutting-edge technology you can learn from + Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays \#DefenseOCONUS \#JMSC-IP \#GDITArmy The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
