Educating clients regarding exercise technique and appropriate use of equipment. + **Documentation and Monitoring:** Monitoring progress and keeping patients/athletes progressing through the program. Updating programs as needed. Documenting test results and training in a clear, concise, and timely manner. + **Communication:** Communicating effectively with therapists and other team members regarding progress. Ensuring smooth operations and optimal use of wellness services. + **Environment Maintenance:** Maintaining equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment. Keeping a clean and inviting work environment according to health department codes and facility standards. + **Research and Development:** Assisting in research initiatives as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. + Experience using knowledge of anatomy and physiology, training theory, and exercise science. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in an Exercise Science field from an accredited institution (degree will be verified). + Master’s degree in an Exercise Science related field from an accredited institution. + Experience with orthopedic injuries and surgical procedures. **Physical Requirements:** Carrying, climbing, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing and walking. **Location:** St. Marys Regional Hospital **Work City:** Grand Junction **Work State:** Colorado **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
