Overview We are seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to perform a variety of dental assisting duties, including but not limited to, assisting the dentist with restorative procedures, taking radiographs, preparing dental materials, and providing patient education. You will work closely with our talented dental team to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care and comfort. Offering a $2000.00 SIgn on Bonus Schedule (days/hours) 8-5 AND 1 SATURDAY 8-2 Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (e.g., restorative, endodontic, and preventive care). Perform expanded functions such as placing and carving fillings, applying sealants, and taking impressions. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow in the clinic. Stay up-to-date with current dental technologies and techniques. Qualifications Active EFDA certification Active CPR Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Compassionate, friendly, and professional demeanor.
