Job Title: Buyer Planner Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support production needs. Responsibilities - Procure materials and services to meet production requirements - Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and terms - Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed - Work closely with the production team to ensure on-time delivery of materials - Utilize Syspro or similar software for procurement activities - Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues - Manage supplier performance and quality standards - Coordinate with various departments for effective materials management Requirements - Experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management - Proficiency in ERP systems - Strong negotiation skills for contract management - Ability to analyze data and make informed buying decisions - Knowledge of quality management principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to fabricate strong relationships with suppliers Hard Skills + Working with customers + Learning the products + RFQ's + Quoting Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
