Expedition / Navigator Financial Analyst

As a PD-ICE Finance analyst, you will have the opportunity to deliver on Ford’s Cost and Quality initiatives for future Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) programs (Explorer, Expedition / Navigator). This position partners with our Product Development team (Cost Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Finance) to source parts and address changes in the regulatory environment.

Current GSR 8 with strong analytical skills Product Development Finance experience required. Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Even better, you may have…

MBA Preferred (Finance, Accounting or Economics) Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable presenting to Operating Management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, use of AI tools / Power BI to create process efficiencies.  Detail oriented self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to prioritize assignments, multi-task in fast paced environment.  Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships with operating partners.

Responsibilities

Lead VHM4 and VHM5 support for the vehicle target setting process (ACT Workshops)  Partner with the Teams of 4 (Cost Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance) to source commodities at or better than target. Calculate business cases and perform scenario analysis (e.g., IRR) weighing Ford’s cost of debt vs. projected return. Partner with Unit and Program Finance to accurately report latest VHM4 and VHM5 material cost, investment, and risks & opportunities (R&Os) for pre-<PA> programs.  Present milestone financial status to VHM4 and VHM5 matched pairs and finance management.
