Job Title: Expediter
Location: Katy, Texas
Type: Open-Ended Contract
We are a growing engineering company is looking to add a detail-oriented and highly organized Expediter to our team. This role will focus on tracking and managing the movement of fabricated spools throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities: Track and manage fabricated spools from production to delivery, ensuring that schedules are adhered to and materials are accounted for. Coordinate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to resolve any issues or delays in the fabrication process. Ensure all documentation, such as purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipping instructions, is properly updated and communicated to the relevant teams. Identify potential delays or bottlenecks in the production process and work proactively to mitigate issues. Communicate regularly with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth flow of operations.
Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in an expediting or logistics role, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, or fabrication environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Targeting up to $28/hr DOE
