Job Description
As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of production on the floor. You will be responsible for coordinating tasks, communicating between teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your ability to provide clear instructions and maintain an organized workflow will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesDrive what is produced on the floor.Ensure each supervisor has the necessary resources on the floor.Create jobs and travelers, and explain any required job splits.Relay information between the planning team and the production team.Coordinate jobs using the 'Job boss' system, spending 30-40% of your time on this task.Verify inventory and ensure the required parts are available for each job.Manage and juggle about a dozen different projects at any given time.Essential SkillsExperience with inventory management.Proficiency in expediting materials.Familiarity with the 'Job Boss' system.Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong communication skills.Ability to explain job splits and relay critical information.Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is located in a hot, loud manufacturing environment in El Cajon. You will be working on the production floor, where attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks are crucial.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
