Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Expense Manager. The individual will be part of a team operating in the insurance industry. This role places emphasis on the management of expenses, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating effective communication with employees.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing and management of expense reports
• Utilize Concur and Excel to maintain accurate financial records
• Implement and revise policies and guidelines surrounding expense reports
• Regularly interact with employees, potentially providing training on the use of Concur
• Collaborate closely with the Finance and Accounting team
• Manage a team, including an expense analyst, to ensure efficient operation
• Centralize information relevant to department budgets
• Review expenses to ensure they are in line with company policies
• Report on expenses to upper management and relevant departments.
This is a permanent position that will pay up to $90,000 depending upon experience. It is primarily remote. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Expense Manager
• Proficiency in using Concur for expense management
• Strong knowledge and experience in using Excel Formulas
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven track record of managing and reducing company expenses
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
