Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

Cultivate your career and fertilize your future Enhance the appearance and value of the athletic fields through the execution of daily grounds and turf maintenance Performs tasks necessary to accomplish the field conditions, turf management, and year-round maintenance goals Properly trim, mow, weed, paint the layout the field and so much more Learn to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf conditions Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment Duties are performed on baseball, softball, soccer, football, track and field, along with lacrosse and field hockey fields. Both natural turf and artificial turf. Prepping the fields for set up, painting lines, dragging fields, mowing, irrigation etc. Position includes renovating and rebuilding of a sports field. Qualifications

What We’re Seeking:

Love of the outdoors Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire Valid Chauffers' Driver's License or willing to get one prior to starting the first day. Valid State of Michigan Pesticide License in Categories 3a and 6. Minimum 3 years in Athletic Field Maintenance, Athletic Field Renovation or Athletic Construction.  Additional Information
