Ed Morse is currently seeking a Title Clerk to join our team! 

Responsibilities

This individual will primarily be responsible for handling information regarding motor vehicle registration and process legal documents and other state-required documents. Organized, detail-oriented individual required with previous titling experience preferred.

Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.Prepares tax and title documents.Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles or from receiving dealership.Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.Process payments made to titling agencies.Process duplicate title requests in Missouri and additional states, as necessary.Make lien payoffsPost car dealsPost F & I products soldProcess end of month paymentsProcess vehicle state reportsRecord and maintain new and used inventory in Dealer Management SystemOther tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentCDK experience preferredTitle work experience preferredFamiliarity with DMV rules and requirementsKnowledge of loan origination functions mandatoryKnowledge of State Tax CodesMicrosoft Office experience preferredAbility to speak effectively in front of groups of customers as well as employeesMust successfully complete a background and drug screening
