Description of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead. This position is part-time and offers up to 20 hours per week. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in Conyers, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor and record clients' health and well-being Administer medications as per physician's instructions Prepare and serve meals to clients Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands Provide emotional support and companionship to clients Follow care plans and ensure clients' safety and comfort

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Caregiver Certification in First Aid and CPR Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate and patient nature Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Summary:

Compensation & Benefits:
The caregiver will receive a competitive hourly pay ranging from $13 to $16, depending on experience. The caregiver will also be paid on a weekly basis. Additionally, the caregiver will have access to on-going training and support from our experienced staff and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to seniors in need, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Remainder of medications and monitor medical conditions
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote mental and physical stimulation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably working with seniors
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
