Department: Therapeutic Recreation\n

Summary: Operates a motor vehicle to perform various duties involving the transportation of Residents, Mozaic Senior Life\n

Reports To: Facilities Supervisor, Director of Resident Life \n

Hours: Per Diem\n

Essential Responsibilities:\n\nTransport Residents to special events and other locations as directed.\n\n\nFollow safety regulations of the vehicle, including loading and unloading Residents in wheelchairs.\n\n\nRefine vehicle after each trip for future use.\n\n\nDetect faulty operation of motor vehicle and notify supervisor of need for service.\n\n\nObserve traffic laws; follow safety regulations.\n\n\nMaintain vehicle and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.\n\n\nOther related duties as assigned.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications\n

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred\n

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience\n

Licensure: Connecticut CDL license - required\n

Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities:\n

Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.\n
