Summary: Perform general maintenance duties and assist with emergent weather conditions. \n

Reports To: Facilities Supervisor, Director of Facility Services\n

Titles Supervised: N\/A\n

Shift\/Hours: 3pm-11pm 37.5 hrs.\/week\n

Essential Responsibilities:\n\nConduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.\nPerform preventative maintenance.\nHandle basic repairs and maintenance.\nDiagnose mechanical issues and correct them.\nRepair machines, equipment or structures as necessary.\nWork on ladders.\nSnow removal required.\nPerform jobs as required by work orders in a safe and timely manner.\nAssist in all emergency matters ranging from fire safety procedure to on call service.\nWilling to learn to operate different equipment such as snowplow, spreader and John Deere bucket loaders.\nComply with all company safety regulations.\nBe able to perform with minimal supervision.\nOther related duties as assigned.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications:\n

Education: High School Diploma or GED Trade School preferred or knowledge of the trade's equivalent to 4 years vocational school training\n

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required\n

Licensure: CT State Motor Vehicle Driver's License\n

Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities: Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.
