THE ROLE
We have a new opportunity for a planning Paralegal to join a highly regarded City based planning team.
Working alongside Solicitors and other Paralegals, the post holder will be handling;
Legal research, client pitches, preparation of legal agreements, assisting with court proceedings and planning appeals
This is a role that would suit an individual with some professional legal training looking to develop a career in Planning Law.
The firm is willing to offer SQE training, to be undertaken part-time alongside the role.
For anyone considering a change of career into law without any prior legal experience, but with relevant industry experience, it would be possible to qualify as a Solicitor within c. 2.5 years.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a graduate, with a keen interest in developing a career in planning and development work.
You will have relevant work experience, ideally gained from working in a law firm. Candidates with experience gained from working within a planning/ built environment consultancy, architectural practice, or a council planning department would also be of particular interest
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and commitment to developing a long term career in planning law
