The web engineering team is responsible for developing and maintaining Plaid’s website, which is central to our brand and Growth strategies. We’re embarking on an exciting journey to reimagine our site and transform how we connect with customers, showcase our products, and communicate our story. The transformation is happening at all levels as we re-evaluate both the technical platform we’ve built and the customer experience. We’re a highly cross-functional group across Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing that is looking for an engineering lead to join our team.
As the lead for the team, you will set our technical strategy, defining and delivering a robust web platform that ensures we can develop engaging, interactive and impactful web pages. You’ll achieve this by setting the technical direction, holding a high technical bar for the team, and directly contributing alongside the team. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our cross-functional partners to drive strategy, roadmap and timelines. Additionally, contribute to executing against the strategy Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and Product to set strategy, roadmap, timelinesOnboard new members to team and maintain a high standard for technical excellenceRepresent web needs in our overall frontend platform efforts focused on the build, deploy, and monitor experienceQualificationsExtensive experience in both static and server-side websites Extensive experience leading the development of a robust web platform with a CMSExtensive experience with Javascript, React, or other modern UI frameworks/librariesPrior experience working on a stack with Google Analytics, Marketo, SegmentProficiency with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or similar Familiarity with technical SEO optimization Prior TL experience, demonstrating strong partnership with EMs, PMs and other cross-functional partners and stakeholdersExperience coaching mid and senior level engineers$193,320 - $329,400 a yearTarget base salary for this role is between $193,320 and $329,400 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
