This position completes the nursing department schedule for all units, all shifts, on a timely basis. Provides daily update of open shift needs and initiates daily contact with skilled nursing staff to fill open shift needs. The Scheduler MUST have experience in staffing and scheduling as we take pride in providing a level of care that we would want for our own loved ones. Essential Job Responsibilities: + The scheduler will Input new schedules, and adjust existing schedules using our software program (Smartlinx) + The scheduler will find replacement staff when necessary to always ensure adequate staff coverage. + The scheduler completes daily timekeeping functions, completes daily staffing reports, and processes nursing staff time off requests in a timely manner. + Other duties as assigned by the Administrative team. Definite Pluses Include: + At least 1 year of staffing experience in an in-patient setting + Experience in a long-term care setting highly desirable. + Prior experience with Smartlinx is preferred, but we are glad to train! + Clinical experience is a bonus! + Associates degree or equivalent is required.
