Compensation: $ 28 - $ 35 / hour depending on experience.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and mentor a team of veterinary techniciansEnsure high-quality patient care and client satisfactionCollaborate with veterinarians and hospital leadership to maintain operational excellenceAssists in the educational development of technicians and their skills Drive continuous improvement in technical skills and protocolsHelp with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates Foster a positive, supportive work environment that promotes professional growthCultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital cultureWork cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospitalEnsure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staffHaving mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you are a role model for the team. You will work alongside our Medical Director, Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment.
Qualifications:
Certified or Registered Veterinary Technician and/or equivalent practice experience 5+ years of veterinary clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in veterinary software and technical equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 poundsWhy VCA
