Boeing South Carolina (BSC), is looking for Experienced Wire Design & Installation Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).
Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Collects data to support the development of statements of work.
Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities.
Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.
Works under close supervision.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation.
3+ years of experience using IVT (Integration Visualization Tool).
1+ years of experience working with DCCS (Design Change Classification System).
Experience working with computer aided design (CAD) such as CATIA, Solidworks, Siemens, NX.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in Model-Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM.
Experience using all the Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $97,750 – $132,250
