Team Overview:

The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group is focused on accelerating the adoption of clean vehicles in California. CET leads a ~$0.5B portfolio of transportation electrification (TE) programs to increase the adoption of clean vehicles in California as we work to address one of the largest contributors to climate change – and we need a motivated, organized Program Office lead to help us execute on this portfolio. We serve PG&E’s customers by deploying electric vehicle programs to increase access to charging infrastructure, reduce total cost of electric vehicle ownership, educating our customers and pursuing innovative R&D on the future of transportation electrification, focused on vehicle-grid-integration.

Position Summary

The Clean Energy Transportation team is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst (Expert) to provide operational and financial tracking and oversight of our Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) program portfolio, ensuring that these meet program goals and regulatory compliance obligations. The successful candidate will work closely with the LCFS Program Lead to prepare quarterly and annual LCFS reports, compile and track program data, and execute administrative projects in support of the program portfolio.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.​

 

A reasonable salary range is:​

 

Bay Area : $114,000.00

Bay Area : $182,000.00

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location is the PG&E Oakland General Office.

 

Job Responsibilities

Analyze program progress, report on key program successes and opportunities both internally and externally, and provide strategic and tactical insights Track program spend against regulatory approved budgets and work with program managers to develop annual forecasts Develop and improve program processes, data tracking tools, and dashboards to aid in reporting Respond to data requests from CPUC and other regulatory entities

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Economics, or related discipline or equivalent work experience required of 6 years’ related work experience

 

Desired Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Power BI and Power Query Excellent communication skills are required – i.e. the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in written documents Demonstrated ability to present findings, make recommendations and influence decisions while working with staff supporting various functions Strong analytic skills and the ability to grasp and solve complex problems Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize and deliver quality results on time Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations and laws - for example CARB, CEC, and CPUC - as needed to perform at the job level Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Subject matter expertise in one or more high-impact areas within Clean Transportation Detail oriented with excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills Dedication to delivering the highest quality of work
