YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

You will collaborat a multidisciplinary department responsible for performing metabolism studies using 14C-labelled compounds according to "Good Laboratory Practice"You will coordinate a team responsible for the accurate measurement of radioactivity of solid and liquid samples as well as documentation of all measurement data under GLPYou will ensure timely and reliable measurements as well as responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a large fleet of equipment (liquid scintillation counters, combustion robots, Microbeta, etc.) and its validation under GLPYou will further development of measurement methods and equipmentYou will collaborat in the implementation of a new LIMS system (Laboratory Integrated Management System)You will responsible for radiation protection in the department (monitoring area as defined by law)You will take over the coordination of the radiation protection service, communication within Bayer AG and with authorities

You have a PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, physics or related sciences or an equivalent qualification based on many years of professional experienceYou have detailed knowledge of the radioisotopes 14C and 3H, radioactivity measurements and their measuring instrumentsYou have knowledge of radiation protection (Radiation Protection Act, handling licences, waste disposal, etc.)You have IT knowledge is desirable, especially of LIMS systems and automationYou have strong ability to work in a team and in partnership with colleagues (all genders) to achieve common goalsYou have good problem solving skills and the ability to structure and simplify complex tasksYou have good German und English skills
