Gartner’s Digital Growth & Transformation Practice helps our clients understand digital business and technology related market demand, and competitor activity, to refine their business strategy and leverage emerging and core technology to execute successfully. We help our clients define, enable, and accelerate value realization through our market, customer, and technology expertise, assets, and data insights. We calibrate the best approach based on our clients’ specific needs and leverage Gartner insights to fast forward their success.

About the Role

Gartner Consulting is looking for an Expert Partner to develop client relationships, lead client engagements, build strong teams and help grow our Digital Growth & Transformation Practice Capabilities.

What you’ll do

Our Consulting Expert Partners are responsible for selling and delivering client engagements and client relationship management. You will manage teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our asset-based methodologies.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Business Building

Drive achievement of the individual and practice’s financial objectives, and contribute to overall Gartner Consulting’s financial successProactively package, position, sell and deliver Digital Growth & Transformation solutions to our clients

Thought Leadership

Build a reputation with clients and within Gartner for deep domain / industry expertise (e.g. emerging technologies, key digital and IT buying trends, Customer Experience, etc.) Develop repeatable, globally consistent practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials in conjunction with Practice and Industry LeadsDrive development of assets (e. g. tools, accelerators, etc.) and intellectual property (e. g. playbooks)Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex market data sets, primary research and competitive landscapes. 

Client Leadership

Drive client solutioning in sales pursuits in the practice area working closely with our largest accountsUnderstand the business challenge and what the client wants to achieveFormulate the solution based on expertise in practice area and capabilitiesIdentify the value proposition and differentiators for the offeringsDevelop the storyline that represents all our capabilities to address the client s problemDrive high client satisfaction through exceptional quality delivery and strong relationships

People Leadership

Build a high-performing team with requisite skill set to sell and deliver Digital Business and Market StrategiesLead and mentor associates to build a scaled capability  Develop training content for associates to increase knowledge of offerings and delivery toolkitsSupport the Practice team’s performance setting clear goals and objectives and establish metricsPartner with Industry and Region Leads to develop talent strategy – capacity planning, hiring, and talent management     

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree highly preferred10+ years of experience in Strategy ConsultingSubject Matter expertise in Digital Transformation with deep experience in one or more areas such as Industry 4.0, Digital Supply Chain, Omnichannel Customer Experience and Digital CommerceStrong business and financial acumen as well as analytical skillsAbility to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD - 248,400 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
