Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Technical Writer to support its FAA business. 

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: 

Provides support to read and analyze highly technical materials and to create presentations of that information. This may be specifications, drawings, user manuals, presentations, reports, or training documents Authors complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, installation guides, design guides, training materials, technical guidance, and other technical documentation This individual will partner with other teams, such as development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs Create new documentation and evaluate, edit, improve, and correct legacy documentation

 The successful candidate will have:

15+ years of relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, math, or science Advanced ability to design and develop Microsoft Products to include: Office, Project and SharePoint Excellent writing, editing, drafting and journaling skills, to include the ability to design and create documents and artifacts from notional ideas Conceptual and practical understanding of all project management knowledge areas preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines Highly responsive to requested needs Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion FAA experience is desired
