Exports Coordinator - 1st Shift

We are looking for an Exports Coordinator in Dallas, Texas, who is highly organized and can easily transition throughout the workday from the warehouse floor to a desk or office area. We will count on your export shipping experience and knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) to ensure compliance with shipping and data quality requirements. Your Role You will coordinate with shippers, truckers, and various company offices for the export of shipments. You will handle the complete process of shipment from arranging pick-up to tracing to final destinations. Your typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and you will be paid weekly at $17.50 per hour. Your Responsibilities You will monitor programs for the transportation of export and hazardous materials
Arrange pick-up or inland transportation for items, prepare documentation, trace to final destination, and handle data quality requirements
File Shipper’s Export Declarations
File AES through the ACE system for shipments
Create Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD) along with the packing and preparing of hazardous material shipments
Work with export commodity control items Your Skills and Experiences High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in air freight or export shippingWorking knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries and major citiesBasic knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirementsExport and/or hazardous materials experienceInternational shipping experience is a PLUS.Must be able to work overtime.SAP or warehouse system knowledge is a plus Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
