About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Merchandise Planner to join our Dotti Planning team.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work as a commercial partner with the Product Managers in order to maximise the financial performance of the brand by developing and managing the department financial plan. 

Responsibilities

Build seasonal budgets in conjunction with the product team feedback Build, implement and manage assortment plans to achieve department financial KPIs Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the financial projection Working with product design and sourcing teams to provide feedback on merchandise volume and attributes Undertake appropriate pre & post review preparation, analysis, presentation and subsequent strategy build and execution Control the department stock levels and weeks cover, with a focus on aged stock reduction Work closely with the Inventory Management team to ensure stock levels are optimised to drive sales and profitability

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in merchandise planning Expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, option planning, managing OTB and inventory management Passion for retail with an analytical mind Able to demonstrate sound relationship management and influencing skills Excellent commercial and business acumen Excellent working knowledge of Excel
