External Manufacturing Operations Manager Consumer Health 

     

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Oversee day-to-day operations of external manufacturing partners to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of productsDevelop and implement operational strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivityCollaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Quality Assurance,Regulatory, Procurement, to ensure alignment on production schedules, quality standards, and product specificationsMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvementLead initiatives to improve cost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational effectivenessConduct regular performance reviews and audits of external manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partners, providing support and guidance to resolve operational challengesCoordinate with procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials for productionGo-to-person for any new business evaluation with CMO Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management and stakeholdersStay informed about industry trends and best practices in manufacturing operations

 

 

WHO YOU ARE:

 

Bachelor’s degree or above At least 8 years of experience in commercial / business AND manufacturing (operations, quality, technology, planning) function required (or equivalent combination of education / experience)Solid experiences in CMO management  Strong understanding of GMP, supply chain management, and quality management system Knowledge about Regulatory Requirements Processes is a plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, Project management with the ability to influence and negotiate effectivelyDemonstrated problem solving skills with service orientation Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal coaching Must be decisive in ambiguous environment Fluent Business English/ Japanese with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
