About the Job

Work with NA Opella Public Affairs and Policy Head to develop and implement stakeholder outreach efforts in support of Rx to OTC switch and current portfolio goals and strategy.  Position will be heavily focused on switch. Assist in managing relationships both internally within Sanofi and externally with external organizations to achieve business objectives. Identify, develop, and maintain strategic alliances with third-party organizations and their communities; manage and execute partnership projects and effectively communicate progress internally to align resources. This role does allow for remote work, however, we would prefer the person to sit on the East Coast.

Main Responsibilities:

Demonstrate initiative to assess, develop, and execute solutions that will improve awareness and achievement against goals, strategy, and engagement of key Advocacy stakeholders to support Sanofi’s switch and portfolio interests within the advocacy community:Patient/Consumer associations, advocates & groupsMedical / scientific societiesThink tanks and public health foundationsHelp lead and/or manage the presence of Sanofi in relevant external meetings throughout the year.  Listen to the needs of people and providers and bring key insights into the organization.  Establish and maintain Sanofi as a trusted partner by identifying common goals and areas of collaboration and the proposal and execution of partnership projects to achieve those goals.Analyze trends, issues, and environmental factors relative to the individual switch and portfolio assets to anticipate opportunities and risks of importance to Sanofi; work with appropriate functions to develop points of view in order to counsel management and influence business decision-making process.Display a positive, highly flexible, collaborative mindset to actively work with others and use strong organization skills to track information on relationship and project progress.Assure full compliance with all corporate, industry, and regulatory guidelines.Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

About You

BA/BS in scientific, business, stakeholder advocacy, public affairs, policy or related field; Masters preferred.5+ years’ experience in the consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.Third-party alliance/advocacy experience in consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred2+ years of experience stakeholder and/or patient advocacy.Able to develop collaborative partnerships with stakeholders – internally and externallyAble to align function’s objectives with overall business strategy; able to anticipate and address issues in an evolving and complex environmentAble to implement programs and take them from planning to execution with tangible impact and measurable resultsOutstanding writing and communication skills with the ability to distill and present complex information in a clear and convincing manner for diverse audiences.Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.Adaptable/flexible, self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, empowered team environment.Strong drive to achieve superior results.
