Pay for Extra Helper in Stock Prep is:  $26.61 per hour.  

Shift differential:  Employees who work on the second or third shift will receive $1.00 per hour above the employee's regular rate.

Some responsibilities for Extra Helper in Stock Prep:    

Operate forklift and/or other equipment within department.General housekeeping and snow removal.Clean screens, trenches, equipment, etc. as needed.Record and document as necessary.Assist in extinguishing small fires if applicable.Maintains equipment in safe working condition.Adhere to all mill health and safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to injury/incident/concern reporting, participating in incident investigations and Learning Events, and following any return-to-work requirements.Attend and completing all required training.Work safely and comply with all Local, State, Federal, and WestRock laws, regulations, and practices.Perform the essential functions of the other positions within the department on a relief and fill-in basis.  Other duties as assigned.  

 

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to work in the United States and have acceptable I-9 documentationPass Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test with a score of 50% or higher per labor agreement.Must obtain and maintain forklift certification via internal training.Must train and qualify to perform two positions higher than this position.Must meet requirements and maintain/be in good standing per Local USW 264 to be eligible for this position.  Read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, tape measures, etc. Must be able to add fractions.Must apply online.  

 

Hours of work:  Must be willing to work varying shifts for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.  Must work overtime as needed.
