Summary: Hiring an Extruder Operator for the 2nd shift, responsible for running assigned extruder machines and ensuring end product specifications.

Job Requirements:

Must have a HS diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints

Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required

Preferred Skills:

Experience in operating extruder machines

Familiarity with verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges

Job Responsibilities:

Check assigned extrusions every hour using verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges

Record material height, weight, outside diameter, inside diameter, resistance temperature, rpm and pressure in computer

Use internal system to track machine operations and material usage for next shift handoff

Unload/reload assigned machines; clean machines as necessary

Replenish materials from inventory when low; minimize waste during the reloading process

Obtain correct die for each job; clean die machine after order completion.
