**Job Title: Tool and Die Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of extrusion tooling, performing precision measurements, and conducting repairs and maintenance on various dies and related tools. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning, and a passion for maintaining high standards, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** + Nitriding dies, polishing dies, and maintaining all extrusion tooling in good condition. + Performing quality checks of extrusions during production runs. + Providing accurate quality and performance information for dies to the die shop manager. + Correcting dies at the press and in the die shop. + Operating hand tools and various machines. + Adjusting new dies before running them in production. + Performing test extrusions of new or corrected dies, die repair, and providing technical die service and auxiliary support tools such as bolsters and backers. + Reading blueprints and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. + Performing and assisting in preventative maintenance. + Reading die drawings and inspecting parts and surface finishes according to customer specifications. + Utilizing proper inspection tools and techniques. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
