Extrusion Coatings Sales Manager, Senior

As an Extrusion Coatings Sales Manager, Senior, you will as an individual contributor manage the business development of profitable new Extrusion and related Commercial business, maintaining base Extrusion accounts for the Industrial Coatings segment!  You will cover a variety of accounts nationally in the US with an emphasis on the West Coast market.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Extrusion Sales.  Due to the nature of this position the successful candidate may work remotely but must be within a reasonable distance of a major airport.  PPG offers excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, PTO, 401k, supplemental Retirement, continuous education and excellent opportunities for advancement!

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a territory business plan to support Extrusion, liquid coating, and powder coating growth by identifying target markets, segments, and developing related strategies.

Manage Accounts and build positive relationships with base business personnel and end user accounts to achieve plan.

Communicate Extrusion strategy with internal stakeholders to ensure team approach and mutual success.

Investigate and stay abreast on Extrusion products, services, markets, and emerging technologies. 

Develop active strategies for future growth by understanding PPG’s competition, their products and services, and develop counter programs.

Maintain communication and actively engage with industry leadership, travel to clients, participate in industry events, and build on PPG’s reputation for service and product innovation.

Mentor and help develop lower-level Commercial Territory Managers.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, or related; OR equivalent combination of experience, training, and B2B sales acumen.

5+ year’s B2B sales experience in Commercial Coatings, Extrusion, Chemicals, or related.

Distribution channel experience is prefered.

Travel 50%
