Join a leading developer and manufacturer of engineered polymeric solutions for the medical device industry. This role supports the healthcare industry across various market segments, including catheters, minimally invasive procedures, diagnostics, fluid management, and packaging. We are expanding our extrusion lines and seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesOperate extrusion machinery according to provided instructions and safety guidelines.Perform detailed mechanical assembly, quality checks, and manufacturing tasks.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of production activities.Ensure reliability and initiative in learning and maintaining production schedules.Stand and work on your feet for 8+ hours a day.Collaborate closely with extrusion operators and the maintenance team.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of mechanical skills in mechanical assembly, quality, manufacturing, or operating experience.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.Reliability and proactive attitude towards learning and production.Ability to read and write in English fluently for heavy documentation tasks.Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.Additional Skills & QualificationsEnjoy working with hands and possess the right characteristics for the role.Experience with general labor, hand tools, machine setup, utility operations, and general production tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work will be performed on the manufacturing floor, closely collaborating with extrusion operators and the maintenance team. The facility is smaller but very clean, providing a safe and organized work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
