**Job Title: Extrusion Operator**
**Job Description**
Our company develops and manufactures the most diverse product line of color-matched color concentrates, masterbatches, and pigment dispersions of any colorant company in the world. We produce colored plastic material that is then sent out to other companies for their product manufacturing. Please note, you might get a little dirty working here.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate extruder machines
+ Run 2-3 machines simultaneously
+ Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines
+ Collaborate with QA to inspect finished parts
+ Clean machines between each job
+ Weigh out material for each job
+ Lift up to 50 lbs
+ Handle some material and operate a forklift when needed
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in extrusion and machine operating
+ Basic math skills
+ Computer skills
+ Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting abilities
+ Inspection skills
+ Forklift operating skills
+ Ability to use calipers and micrometers
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience (6 months to 1 year+)
+ Ability to read, write, and follow basic instructions and short correspondences
+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

**Work Environment**
Hours: 2nd shift - 3pm-11:30pm M-F ($0.75 shift premium), 3rd shift - 11pm-7:30am Sun-Thurs ($1.00 shift premium). Candidates will train on the 1st shift for the first few weeks before moving to their respective shift. The shift premium will not be applied until after training.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, Wisconsin.
