Job Description

We are a leading developer and manufacturer of engineered polymeric solutions for the medical device industry. Supporting the healthcare industry across various market segments such as catheters, minimally invasive devices, diagnostics, fluid management, and packaging, we are expanding our extrusion lines and seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team.

ResponsibilitiesOperate extrusion machinery and ensure efficient production processes.Perform mechanical assembly, quality checks, and manufacturing tasks.Maintain detailed documentation and records of production activities.Ensure reliability and take initiative to learn and improve processes.Stand and work on feet for 8+ hours a day.Essential Skills6 months of mechanical skills in assembly, quality, manufacturing, or operating experience.Ability to read and write in English fluently due to heavy documentation requirements.Reliable transportation to the workplace.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical inclination and experience with hand tools.General labor and machine setup experience.Ability to work well with hands and enjoy hands-on tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work will be performed on the manufacturing floor, working closely with the extrusion operators and maintenance team. It is a smaller manufacturing facility but is very clean. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
