**Job Title: Extrusion Operator** **Job Description** We are a manufacturer of high-quality plastic film and sheet, serving diverse industries such as graphic arts, medical, aerospace, and automotive. We are seeking a candidate who is mechanically inclined or has extrusion experience to support the Extrusion Technician in setting up the Line, ensuring raw materials are constantly loaded, and tasks at the end of the line are functioning properly. **Responsibilities** + Assist the Extrusion Technician with setting up the Line. + Move and load materials required for specified jobs. + Prepare the Line for running jobs and set up designated packaging. + Follow all required process documentation. + Unload and pack finished goods from the Line. + Capable of climbing ladders to load materials. + Handle containers weighing up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs infrequently. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude or extrusion experience. + Ability to read and write English. + Understanding of safety policies in a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing experience. + Ability to utilize basic measuring devices. + Extrusion experience is a significant advantage. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic work environment with up-to-date facilities, including a newly renovated building and cafeteria. The position involves both day and night shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WALLINGFORD, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
