**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of extrusion lines and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Observe all prescribed or standard safety rules and regulations.
+ Work from assigned schedule and work orders, making decisions on setups and processes within recognized methods and procedures.
+ Obtain work instructions and follow prescribed procedures to set or monitor barrel augur, extruder, and related forming/winding controls, such as pressure, speed, tension, and heat.
+ Move, position nip rollers, rewind shafts, and razor cut devices as required for proper operation.
+ Arrange scrap recovery rolls or cart in proper feed manner.
+ Operate equipment or monitor continuing operations to maintain proper flow of raw and scrap film material and forming, cutting, and rewind operations.
+ Remove completed work and make simple tolerance and/or measurement checks as required.
+ Occasionally perform or assist with fairly complicated setup, machine or related equipment repair, or maintenance duties as instructed.
+ Detect and report defective, contaminated material, unusual conditions, or faulty equipment to proper supervision.
+ Set up extrusion lines, perform extrusion/die head changes, monitor all line controls, make proper adjustments, and check dimensions/quality of the product.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in manufacturing or previous machine operation.
+ Technical knowledge of extrusion.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read a ruler.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Demonstrated organizational skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with extrusion, plastic, troubleshooting, blow molding, blow mold machine, molding machine, machine operation, and production.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a clean room environment following GMP standards. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and the ability to operate and maintain various machines and equipment.
**Job Type & Location**
This position is based out of Deerfield, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $43000.00/yr.
Quarterly Bonus – Up to 5%
