The primary role of an Extrusion Operator is to setup/operate/troubleshoot equipment using established processes for the manufacture of medical components. Roles include but are not limited to: Extrusion, Molding, Braiding, Cutting and De-coring, Inspecting or Grinding. This person could work with manufacturing personnel, maintenance, quality assurance and technical teams.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Setup/Operate/Troubleshoot production machinery such as Thermoplastic Extruders and line supporting equipment, Molding Machines, Monofilament Braiders, Centerless Grinders, and RF Tipping platforms + Documenting activities accurately and completely + Following sequences of operations in performing techniques such as cutting, bonding, inspection, and packing. + Working with (and near) inks, isopropyl alcohol, and other manufacturing-related liquids + Complying with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), general safety and manufacturing procedures, and company practices and policies + Ability to read, comprehend and communicate in English + Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
