Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer II to support processes, materials, and equipment for medical devices with extruded components.
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma required
Over 6 months of extrusion experience
Polymer processing experience
Mechanical aptitude
Hands-on experience
Preferred Skills:
Technical degree or on-the-job training
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment issues
Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
Work with vendors to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment
Collaborate on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers
Improve material/process quality with departmental customers
Address safety, health, or environmental issues related to processes/equipment
Train and provide technical support to product builders
Assist in writing and executing validation protocols and technical reports
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
