EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Collibra

 

 

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

 

We’re looking for candidates with strong technology and data understanding in big data engineering space, having proven delivery capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Ability to work independently, manage small streams as part of large DnA engagements Provide product and design level technical best practices Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead

 

Skills and attributes for success

        Primary:

Should have completed at least 2-3 full life cycle DG implementations Must have hands-on experience across the various phases of a typical DG solution Should be familiar with data stewardship and workflow processes Should be familiar with data lineage and cataloging in the context of Collibra Must have hands-on experience working with key components of the Collibra DIC (Data Intelligence Cloud) such as Business Glossary, Data Catalog (Dictionary), Reference Data, Stewardship, Data Helpdesk, Policy Manager, Issue Management, Collibra Connectors (JDBC and REST API) etc. Should have hands-on experience in configuring connectors and lineage Harvester in Collibra. Should have understanding on the guided stewardship model and traceability diagram. Must have hands-on experience working with Collibra Data Quality module and across the various phases of data quality management - data profiling, data integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, consolidation etc. Must have designed/developed integration between Collibra DIC and other Enterprise Applications/Data Sources/Systems leveraging Collibra API Must have hands-on experience working with Collibra OOTB Workflows and should be able to design Custom Workflows using Eclipse IDE and Activiti Plugin Fair understanding of Data Integration and ETL solutions Good team player with excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

       

Should have 3-8 years of experience in Collibra and Data governance processes. Must have hands-on experience in Collibra modules – Data Intelligence Cloud (Data Catalog, Workflows, Lineage Harvester, Data Marketplace), Data Quality, Data Privacy/Protect. Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices Good exposure to DB technologies such as SQL, Apache Spark Knowledge of the Cloud landscape – AWS, Azure, Snowflake etc. Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, plus workflow development using Activiti/Flowable plugins Hands-on exp in developing custom connectors in Collibra BE/B.Tech/MCA with adequate industry experience
