At EY Turkey, we are seeking dynamic, analytically minded, and continuous learning-oriented recent graduates and/or preferably 1-2 year experienced colleagues to join our expanding team in the VAT, Customs, Digital Services Tax, and other indirect taxes areas within our tax department. Position: VAT, Customs and Indirect Taxes Assistant / Experienced Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
Keep up-to-date with VAT, customs, digital service tax, and other indirect tax legislations and provide consultancy to clients. Assist clients in understanding their indirect tax obligations and developing appropriate strategies to comply. Actively participate in the preparation and review of tax returns (i.e. VAT3, DST, RCF). Support clients in indirect tax obligations. Provide consultancy on customs procedures and international trade legislation. Guide clients on the taxation of digital services. Support clients during indirect tax and customs audits and examinations. Collaborate on projects within the team and across disciplines.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, International Trade and Logistics, etc.). Knowledgeable about indirect taxes or aiming to pursue a career in this area. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficient in English (written and spoken). Knowledge in MS Office applications, especially in Excel and Powerpoint. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Open to continuous learning and self-improvement. Willing to learn indirect tax and legislation and practices. Keen on digital transformation of indirect taxes. No restrictions for domestic and international travels.
