The Boeing Company is currently seeking an experienced, highly skilled professional to serve as the Senior F-15 Radar Chief Engineer (Level 6) on the Boeing Air Dominance Sensors & Special Program Team located in Berkeley, MO.

As a member of the team, you will provide technical leadership and drive technical excellence across multiple domestic and international F-15 Radar development programs. You will be a primary technical interface to the F-15 Radar Supplier and Customers. Additionally, you can expect to drive consistent implementation and improvement of processes.


Position Responsibilities:

Drives technical excellence throughout all F-15 Radar developments.Provides technical leadership and ensures common practices across programs.Serves as the primary technical interface with the Radar Supplier.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Works closely with program managers, program chief engineers and other Boeing Teams to ensure mission success and prompt resolution of anomalies.Chairs and participates in Radar Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Design Reviews, Root Cause/Corrective Actions (RCCA), etc.Provides mentoring and coaching to F-15 Radar Capability Engineers.Performs Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) functions for assigned mentees.Assigns tasking and priorities to F-15 Radar Capability EngineersDrives common practices to meet programs' cost, schedule, quality and technical objectives.Develop and maintain roadmaps throughout all F-15 Radar developments.Captures lessons learned and best practices for implementation on future programs.Researches and identifies potential capability, hardware and architectures with providing recommendation for investmentResolves complex problems impacting multiple programs and platformsCoordinates with Boeing Executive Leadership and Customer Leadership on Technical Issues and Strategy

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.20+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 18+ years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree OR 15+ years of work-related experience with a PhDExperience in technical leadershipExperience in Radar systems analysis, modeling simulation, design and testing, involving airborne or SAR applicationsAble to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master degree in EngineeringExperience in an avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems roleExperience working on F-15 development programsExperience working in a lead role responsible for planning, organizing, and leading personnel to solve complex technical problemsExperience developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovationExperience in preparing and evaluating proposals

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 6: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 6: $170,000 - $230,000
