**SUMMARY**
The Maintenance Dock Supervisor plans and directs maintenance operations and ensures policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Supervise and assign program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.
+ Maintain knowledge of supply procedures, and Service Bulletins/Letters and Airworthiness Directives.
+ Must be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
+ Must have knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
+ Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls and modifies aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
+ Candidate must be knowledgeable in F-16 aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement.
+ Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
+ All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The below additional requirements apply to this position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
+ Must have 6 to 8 years of related aircraft experience on various aircraft systems operation to include landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging, aircraft ground operations and the flight line environment with a minimum of 5 years recent experience on F-16
+ 10 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
+ Must possess a Common Access Card (CAC) or be eligible to receive one
**Desired Skills:**
+ F-16 Crew Chief Experience USAF level 7 or higher
+ Current or previous F-16 Engine Run Qualification
+ F-16 Mod or Depot Experience
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
**Work Conditions**
Position is located OCONUS and in an austere environment; work is being performed on the flight line, limited hangar or aviation field environment.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Must be able to lift and parts, tooling and other awkward items sometimes weighing greater than 50 lbs, including up and down stairs.
+ Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
+ Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
