F-35 Instructional Systems Designer
**Job Description** Join BAE Systems' Intelligence and Security Sector and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who solves some of the world s most complex technical challenges. We are looking for a motivated high energy Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support F-35 Training at Eglin AFB, Florida. This position will work together with employees from multiple companies in support of the F-35 Training System Support Center (TSSC). Additionally, they may work closely with the Tier 1 foreign partners, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO), including all US and non-US customers. This role will work closely with the customers, all training system stakeholders, and Academic Training Centers (ATC) F-35 Instructional Systems Design (ISD) team. This position s daily operations will consist of supporting the sustainment effort for ALL F-35 training courseware products, both pilot and maintainer, enterprise wide. This position will support the Integrated Product Support Team (IPST) by collaborating with multiple product teams to assess and design training system solutions. Daily Tasks can include: ISD courseware reviews, database updates, syllabus development/updates, and front end ISD analysis for new customer requirements. + Works proactively with military services, training team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), contractors and foreign partners to design highly effective content for F-35 customers + Creates enhanced learning opportunities using the latest tools and techniques to connect with today's digital-first students + Identifies, evaluates, and integrates emerging technologies to support training strategy + Applies principles of instructional design and adult learning to assess training needs, while devising strategies impacting training effectiveness + Assists in developing and reviewing training materials, including videos, quick reference guides, templates, checklists, process documents, etc. + Participates in the evaluation of training materials and training delivery + Recommends updating curriculum based on industry trends and new training system innovations + Understands learning theory, blending traditional instructional design models with rapid prototyping and data analytics in order to create enhanced training capability **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** A Bachelor's degree and 6 years or related Experience OR an Associate's Degree and 8 years of related experience OR and High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience Experience in curriculum design and course development with a fundamental understanding of all phases of Instructional Systems Design Knowledge of educational models and theories, including instructional design (ADDIE, SAT, SAM/Agile) and adult learning theory Candidate must possess the ability to learn new skills quickly and integrate into a team structure, while contributing as a valued team member Capable of performing in an environment with dynamic priorities and varying work tasks Ability to work with cross functional teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include highly proficient in MS Office Products Possess the ability to successfully complete assigned projects involving interaction with multiple teams and minimal guidance This position requires the successful candidate to hold an Active/valid Secret clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Familiarity with F-35 Training System product structure, architecture and implementation Familiarity and experience with ISD engineering principles in a military training system Experience with Learning Content Management Systems and Courseware Development processes and techniques Ability to design assessments to support defined learning objectives Project management and prioritization skills Capable of working in the highly technical aviation industry. Aviation or military training experience preferred Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS is preferred Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Captivate **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
