Description:We are Lockheed Martin

Support the F-35 Test & Evaluation Bids & Proposals team. The candidate will work closely with F-35 Development Program Office, F-35 Prime Proposal team, Edwards AFB and Patuxent River Flight Test Sites, Fort Worth Flight Test Engineering, Instrumentation and Data Processing teams, and other Engineering IPTs and Labs to support proposal activity. Will work with the customer to gain a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements via the Contractual Statements of Work. Will support project proposal activity timelines, including Basis of Estimate submittals, program gate reviews and negotiations with the customer. Will be required to develop and utilize metric tools to track and report progress to all levels of leadership.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technical discipline.
-Experience in proposal writing.
-Experience with F-35 flight test or related test operations experience.
-Experience with Program/Project management.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-domain team. F-35 Program experience. Ability to articulate complex matters in concise oral and written presentations in a fast-paced proposal environment. Ability to interpret and clarify contract requirements and decompose to a Technical Statement of Work. Ability to write subcontractor Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Supplier Statements of Work. Ability to interface with program management, estimating, other functional organizations, and the customer (Joint Program Office and DCAA) on LM Aero and supplier proposal activities. Control Account Manager (CAM) experience. Familiarity with proposal tools such as APTS. Strong coordination across various IPTs / integration skills. Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills.
-Experience with MS Office.
Experience coordinating with pertinent organizations to develop executable Flight Test proposals.
-Experience preparing and delivering briefs to executive levels of management.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
