As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of an F&B Attendant is to provide exceptional service to our guests by setting up and maintaining an attractive buffet setup. This role is responsible for setting up the buffet before each meal, arranging tables, linens, and utensils, ensuring the food is presented attractively, and the breakdown of the buffet. A crucial part of this role is to know and follow all food safety and sanitation regulations, keep the buffet stocked and clean at all times, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer-centric approach are essential to excel in this role.
Sets up the buffet for each meal, ensuring an appealing presentation and maintaining optimal food temperature. Continuously monitor and restock the buffet to ensure all food items are available and fresh. Provides excellent customer service by warmly greeting guests, assisting with their needs, and answering any questions they may have. Maintains a clean and organized buffet area, promptly clearing and cleaning tables as guests finish their meals. Demonstrates knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergen information, to assist guests with their selections. Follows proper food handling techniques and adheres to sanitation rules to ensure the safety and well-being of guests. Efficiently breaks down the buffet at the end of each shift, ensuring proper storage of leftover food and maintaining cleanliness. Completes all assigned side work duties, such as refilling condiments, cleaning utensils, and restocking supplies. Collaborates with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
