F5 Network Engineer Location: US Job ID: 16494 Job Description Job Description: Title: F5 Network Engineer Location: On site in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO Citizenship/Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with an ActiveTS/SCI clearance required.This position supports a government contract. As the Network Engineer/F5 Engineer, you will: -Perform research, requirements analysis, design, installation, documentation, troubleshooting, and sustainment of local- and wide-area network hardware and services. -Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration, and test plans. -Ensure compliance with QA standards and service performance indicators. -Review Mission related change requirements and determine impacts on Transport activities. -Engineer and implement solutions for Projects based on customer Change Requests. -Serve as the technical representative for assigned projects. -Provide recommendations on newly submitted action items. -Coordinate issues with the appropriate owners/organizations. -Evaluate and report on new/emerging network/communication technologies. -Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams. Requirements: -TS/SCI clearance. -Experience withF5(APM, AFM, SSLO, etc.). -Competence with mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS). -Experience with Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) revocation. -Familiarity with DoD PKI, Kerberos, LDAP, Active Directory, and HTML. -Ability to describe and troubleshoot TLS/SSL handshake/connection issues. -Experience with HTTP, SAML, and OAuth. -Advanced network design, engineering, and implementation skills. -Creation of network-related Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) equipment lists and costing. -Understanding of DISA and IC standards and processes. -Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate priorities. -Ability to work weekends and evening hours as needed. -Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance. -Ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. -5+ years of related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies.
