F5 Network Engineer (Remote)
Job Description A large healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support their DNS, DHCP, and F5 (Load Balancing) infrastructure within the Network Operations Center (NOC). This role requires shift flexibility, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Main responsibilities for this position include: Designing, deploying, and managing F5 BIG-IP LTM and DNS solutions. Configuring and maintaining load balancing, traffic management, and DNS services. Troubleshooting and resolving network issues related to F5 devices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of F5 solutions. Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements. Developing and maintaining network documentation. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices **Role is 100% REMOTE but must work in PST zone. 8AM-5PM PST. Skills and Requirements · Minimum 5 years of experience as a network engineer · Strong understanding and experience with deploying and operating DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) protocols and infrastructures · Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking including switching, routing, WLAN, and common protocols and services. · 5 years minimum experience managing and support for a Load Balancing environment - Detailed knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)and F5 BIG-IP DNS formerly known as Global Traffic Manager (GTM) · Strong understanding of Linux/Unix Operating systems · Strong understanding with Unix shell scripting and Python · High School Diploma Experience in the Healthcare Industry.
